Modern Warfare 3 PP90M1

History

 

The PP-90M1 (Cyrillic: ПП-90М1) is a 9x19mm Parabellum Russian submachine gun developed by KBP Instrument Design Bureau in the 1990s. It features a 64-round helical magazine, and other than sharing a manufacturer is unrelated to the similarly named PP-90M.
 
The weapon may also be used with a 32-round box magazine if desired.
 

 
The PP-90M1 is designed to fire 9x19mm 7N31 rounds. The round is overpressure armor-piercing ammunition, and when fired from the PP-90M1 can penetrate 10 mm thick steel plate at a range of 10 m.

 

Singleplayer/Spec-Ops

 

The weapon first appears in the level Hunter Killer, where it can be found with or without a Red Dot Sight. It can also be found with a silencer.

the PP90M1 is available from start in the Grenadier Pre-Made class and unlocked at Level 28. It doesn't have high recoil, but rather a somewhat obstructive muzzle flash.

The PP90M1 is a very versatile submachine gun, ideal for short to medium range combat. There are a variety of useful attachments for the PP90M1. Silencer is a good choice since it eliminates muzzle flash, making it easier to stay on target (especially at medium range), where damage drop off is not an issue because of its very high fire rate and low recoil. Red Dot is another good choice since it is gives a clearer view on target and the muzzle flash is not as obstructive. Extended Magazines or Rapid Fire make for good attachments, especially when coupled together. The increased magazine size will compensate for the high fire rate. This combo allows enemies to be quickly dispatched at close range, without fear of depleting the magazine.

Range

Attachment

Allows the use of 2 Attachments. It is a solid all-around Proficiency, useful in many situations. This Proficiency is also notably useful for stealth builds, as it allows you to use a Silencer alongside any other Attachment. The Attachment Proficiency is also helpful if you are still getting comfortable with iron sights, as it allows you to take and optical Attachment and a second utility Attachment. Focus

Reduces visual recoil by 50% when you are hit. Focus is very effective for SMGs and Shotguns. It is also helpful for ARs, as it can keep your shots on target when you enter a heads-up one-on-one firefight. Modern-Warfare-3-Weapon-Focus-Proficiency

Melee

Grants 35% faster melee recovery. Melee can be useful if you are stalking targets with a stealth Shotgun build. With the Riot Shield, it allows you to take down targets much more quickly at close range Modern-Warfare-3-Weapon-Melee-Proficiency

Stability

Reduces idle sway by 25%. Consider this to be an 'automatic' Breath for long-range combat. It is most useful on LMGs, as they need the enhanced accuracy for long-range shots, though ARs also benefit from it.
