| Frag Grenades have a three-and-a-half-second fuse, and can be 'cooked' by holding the Grenade button for up to three seconds before throwing it. Doing so allows you to airburst Frag Grenades, turning them into lethal targeted explosives, ideal for fishing campers out of windows or bombing an objective point precisely. |

| Semtex has explosive power identical to the frag Grenade, but it trades the ability to be cooked or rolled around corners for a shorter fuse time and the ability to stick to any target. You can stick Semtex to walls, floors, ceilings, objectives...and even other players! |

The Throwing Knife is an instantly lethal thrown blade that can be retrieved after embedding itself in an object--or another player!
The Throwing Knife is difficult to use well, but it is stealthy, can be recovered (and resupplied with Scavenger, unlike all other Equipment), and can also be thrown instantly while you're reloading or otherwise unable to fight.

The Bouncing Betty is a new class proximity explosive. When it's triggered, it launches itself into the air and detonates, causing an explosive blast in a 360-degree radius.
It's possible to duck or go prone to avoid half or all of the explosion. So, pay careful attention to the sound the Betty makes whin it trips, and you might save yourself from the blast.

Claymores are the frontal-cone proximity explosive, detonation at the ankle level. Proper placement of Claymores is vital for full effectiveness.
When you use a Claymore to cover a doorway or other narrow entrance, place it facing away from the doorway. That is to say, you want your target to walk through the doorway, trip the Claymore, and have the blast project from the door into the room, killing the foe while he moves into the Claymore's blast zone. If you face the Claymore directly toward the doorway or opening, sprinting enemies may trip the Claymore and be past the blast cone before it can take them out.

C4 is manually triggered explosive that can be attached to any wall, ceiling, or convenient vehicle. It's very useful in objective modes where you know where your enemies will be. it's less useful for guarding your back, due to the need to trigger it manually. You can detonate C4 by shooting it, using the detonator via the Fire button or by double-tapping the Reload button.
C4 has the strongest blast of all Lethal explosives, and it's especially deadly when attached to a vehicle-the resulting blast is guarateed to take out any enemies in the vicinity.
