To earn the artillery binoculars, you must first earn 40 points (Rank 5) on the scoreboard. The artillery binoculars replace your regular binoculars in slot 7. Furthermore, after respawning with the artillery binoculars, you must stay alive for 30 seconds before the magazine size changes to 1 and you can order an artillery strike (the message "Artillery In Place" will come up on your screen).
